Account Manager – Houston, TX

Premium Oilfield Technologies is seeking an experienced Account Manager to support customer service needs related to spare parts and services for Top Drives and Mud Pumps . This role is key to managing customer relationships, promoting drilling equipment solutions, and driving aftermarket sales growth in the Permian Basin .

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily sales and aftermarket service operations , including administration, asset management, and budget oversight.

  • Generate and review weekly KPI reports and sales forecasts , ensuring alignment with department goals.

  • Develop and implement strategic sales initiatives , including market analysis and inventory planning , to drive revenue growth.

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships , collaborating with sales, service, and marketing teams to enhance customer satisfaction.

  • Promote all products and services offered by the company, working closely with internal teams to maximize sales opportunities .

  • Conduct regular customer check-ins to assess service performance and identify areas for improvement.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety, and quality standards while serving as a role model for the team.

  • Travel as needed to customer locations and be available for occasional after-hours coordination .

  • Proactively identify and implement process improvements to enhance service delivery and efficiency.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Experience:

✔️ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred) OR equivalent industry experience .
✔️ 5+ years of experience in Sales, Aftermarket Sales, or Account Management , preferably in oil & gas drilling equipment .
✔️ Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
✔️ Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.
✔️ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM tools .
✔️ Highly organized , capable of managing multiple accounts, projects, and deadlines.
✔️ Ability to thrive in fast-paced and high-pressure environments , balancing both downtime and high-demand situations.
