Schedule & Compensation:

1. Full-time, Monday–Friday (in office)
2. Competitive pay based on experience ($45-$50K)

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Clerk / Billing Clerk to join our legal office. This position will provide essential support to our accounting department, performing a mix of basic accounting functions and legal billing and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Process daily deposits and maintain accurate accounting records
2. Post and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable
3. Assist with general ledger entries and monthly reconciliations
4. Generate and send invoices in accordance with client and firm guidelines
5. Review billing data for accuracy, including time entries and expense reports
6. Maintain organized financial and billing records, both electronic and physical
7. Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding invoices and payments
8. Assist with other administrative and accounting tasks as needed

Qualifications:

1. 1–2 years of accounting, billing, or administrative experience ( legal billing experience required )
2. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite ( Excel and Word)
3. Experience with QuickBooks and legal billing software (TABS – Time and Billing Software)
4. Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
5. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
