Job Title: Assembler II
\n Type: Temp
\n Location: San Jose, CA
\n Pay Rate: $19.80/hr. - $23.85/hr.
\n Schedule: Monday-Thursday, plus Friday overtime as needed 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM
\n Overtime: Required, as needed
\n 
\n Qualifications: \n

\n\t
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.\n\t
• 1 to 2 years of medical device assembly or ISO certified assembly experience required.\n\t
• If no diploma, must have 2 to 3 years of relevant assembly experience.\n\t
• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, leads, and team members (telephone, email, or in person).\n\t
• Capable of understanding verbal and written work instructions.\n\t
• Basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).\n\t
• Ability to work in a clean room environment, following all required practices and procedures.\n\t
• Comfortable with repetitive work, set procedures, and set pace.\n\t
• Knowledge of Good Documentation Practice, Good Manufacturing Practices, and Lean Manufacturing preferred.\n\t
• Must maintain confidentiality of documents and processes.\n\t
• Excellent fine motor skills, dexterity, and hand/eye coordination for working with small parts and subassemblies.\n\t
• Ability to operate manufacturing and measurement equipment following appropriate training, including but not limited to: microscopes, test equipment, EFDs, ultrasonic welders, soldering irons, dial calipers, pressure gauges, and rulers.\n\t
• Basic MS Windows skills and ability to use site-specific PC programs after training.\n

\n Responsibilities: \n\n

\n\t
• Perform assembly of medical devices on multiple product lines, meeting quantity standards.\n\t
• Understand and follow written procedures under Quality System Policies.\n\t
• Maintain accurate records of manufacturing operations (Device History Records, Data Sheets, Lot Control).\n\t
• Carry out instructions regarding priorities, work schedules, special assignments, and standards.\n\t
• Learn and adapt to new procedures and technologies.\n\t
• May cross-train on various product operations and assist in training others.\n\t
• Support LEAN Manufacturing principles and ongoing improvement efforts.\n\t
• Report material shortages as needed.\n\t
• Ensure a safe and clean work environment, following all safety guidelines and policies.\n\t
• Adhere to attendance standards; work overtime and varying shifts as required.\n\t
• Use work time constructively and avoid disruptions.\n\t
• Participate in Shared Leadership activities (such as Kanban management, calibration, metrics board maintenance).\n\t
• Perform other duties as assigned\n
