Description CenCore Group is seeking an Assistant Contractor Special Security Officer (ACSSO) to support our security operations and help maintain compliance across multiple government contracts. The ACSSO works closely with the CSSO to manage personnel, information, and physical security functions in support of national security programs. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment. Responsibilities * Support the CSSO with daily administrative functions to ensure contract compliance.
* Initiate, track, and document security-related administrative actions and maintain accurate program records.
* Assist with meetings, reports, and document reviews for accuracy and completeness.
* Support information security tasks including document control, log and file retention, incident reporting, and enforcement of operating procedures.
* Perform personnel security administrative tasks: coordinate and submit clearance paperwork, maintain personnel files, and track program rosters.
* Help manage security audits, inspections, and self-assessments.
* Respond to internal and external security inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
* Perform additional duties as assigned in support of company and program security goals.
