A/V Installation Technician

Location: Southwest Florida
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 – $40.00 per hour (based on experience) + incentives

Responsibilities

As an A/V Installation Technician, you’ll be responsible for:

• Installing, configuring, and testing audio, video, electrical, and control system equipment

• Running, labeling, and managing low-voltage cabling and wiring

• Performing basic electrical connections related to A/V and automation systems

• Assisting in system design implementation, including home automation, home theater, surveillance, and lighting control systems

• Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings

• Maintaining a clean, organized, and professional work environment

• Delivering excellent customer service and representing our company with professionalism and enthusiasm

Qualifications & Skills

• 1–2 years of experience in A/V installation, electronics, electrical work, or a related field (preferred)

• Working knowledge of electronics, electrical systems, construction practices, and safety procedures

• Familiarity with home automation platforms (Control4, Crestron, Lutron, etc.) a plus

• Ability to read and understand blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a strong team player

• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record required

• Must be able to pass a drug screening — we maintain a drug-free workplace

Schedule

• Full-time, Monday to Friday

• 8-hour shifts

• Weekends and holidays off

• Flexibility for special projects when needed
