Job Title: Bookkeeper (QuickBooks Experience Required)

Location: Zanesville, Ohio
Job Type: Full-Time
Reports To: CFO

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper with strong proficiency in QuickBooks to manage day-to-day financial transactions, maintain accurate financial records. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and capable of handling sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable


• Record day-to-day financial transactions in QuickBooks


• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations regularly


• Process invoices, payments, and expense reports


• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports


• Maintain and balance general ledgers and trial balances


• Assist with payroll processing and related reporting


• Track and manage budgets, cash flow , and financial forecasts


• Prepare documents for audits and tax filings


• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations


• Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal departments as needed

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role


• Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and/or QuickBooks Online


• Strong understanding of accounting principles


• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer literacy


• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills


• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3 + years of professional experience, preferably in a similar industry


• Experience with Quickbooks


• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables


• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity


• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
