Emerge , a global talent solutions company, is currently recruiting Commercial Hospitality Underwriter for our client.

Position Overview:

We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Underwriter to support underwriting operations for our client’s Hotel/Motel program. This role combines digital tools with traditional underwriting expertise to deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Submission Management: Rate property and general liability submissions and ensure accuracy.
• Agent Communication: Follow up with agents to gather missing information and provide timely support.
• Report Analysis: Run required reports, including Hazard Hub, ISO, and Lexus Nexus, as part of the underwriting process.
• File Management: Maintain complete and organized underwriting files.
• Proposal Creation: Prepare comprehensive proposals for new and renewal business.
• Loss Control Review: Analyze and interpret loss control reports to assess risk.

Qualifications:

• Underwriting Experience: At least 3 years of commercial underwriting experience, with strong knowledge of Property and General Liability insurance.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Independent Judgment: Demonstrated ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
• Customer Service Focus: Strong relationship-building skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
