An international freight forwarding company is actively seeking a Customs Entry Writer to join their facility near College Park, GA .

Responsibilities of Customs Entry Writer

• Prepare documents for customs in a timely manner with appropriate procedures and guidelines
• Ensure all the shipment meets all the applicable laws for import and export of goods
• Communicate with clients and provide the consultation on customs procedures and policies
• Assist clients for on-boarding
• Assist the audit process for accurate custom process
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications of Customs Entry Writer

• 3-5years of experience in entry writer role
• At least Associate degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience
• Experience in freight forwarder field
• Strong leadership skills in a team environment and skills to bring a positive atmosphere to the team
• Ability to be flexible to work effectively with a wide variety of people and to work responsibly and effectively in a multicultural environment
• Excellent communication (Speaking, Writing, Reading, Listening) and presentation skills
• Ability to multi-task and perform duties time efficiently
• Team-worker, Detail-oriented, Responsible, Punctual, Self-motivated
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
• While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 40 pounds, lift in excess of 40 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
