Required Skills AWS Database: Advanced DB2 Database Administration: Advanced Linux (Red Hat): Advanced Unix Shell Scripting: Advanced Data Replication (Global): Intermediate Security & Risk Management / Disaster Recovery: Intermediate Splunk: Intermediate Responsibilities Manage and maintain databases, ensuring high availability and reliability. Perform database performance tuning and SQL optimization to improve efficiency. Implement and maintain database security, backup, and recovery strategies. Troubleshoot and resolve complex database performance and system issues. Manage and maintain database objects such as tables, indexes, views, and stored procedures. Develop and maintain automation scripts using Unix Shell Scripting and JCL for routine database tasks. Utilize DB2 utilities (e.g., LOAD, REORG, RUNSTATS) for database maintenance. Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to ensure data integrity and optimal design. Prepare and maintain technical documentation for configurations, procedures, and design decisions. Provide 24x7 support and participate in on-call rotations for production database environments.
