  • Plan, coordinate, and lead ministry events including retreats, service projects, mission trips, camps, and special activities.
  • Encourage and support students and staff connected to local school campuses.
  • Collaborate with other ministries within the church and, as God leads, help “grow fruit on other’s trees.”

General Shepherding:

  • Provide spiritual direction, care, and counsel to Middle School and High School students.
  • Build meaningful relationships with families within the youth ministry, offering spiritual guidance and support as needed.
  • Promote intergenerational relationships and help integrate youth into the broader church community.
  • Participate in hospital visits, weekend worship services, and other church events as requested.

Schedule: Must be available to work Wednesday evenings and regularly on Saturdays and Sundays, including 5th weekend services and special holiday services.

Office Hours: Establish and maintain regular office hours as much as possible.

Meetings: Attend all required staff meetings and retreats (Weekly “Devos & Prayer,” Monthly All Staff Meetings, Annual Retreat, etc.).

Qualifications:

Character:

  • A Christ-honoring life marked by personal holiness, prayer, Bible study, spiritual and emotional maturity, and increasing dependence on the Holy Spirit (Titus 1:6–9, 1 Timothy 3:1–7).
  • Unquestionable integrity, particularly in handling finances, relationships, and time management.
  • A servant-hearted leader who is eager, flexible, and teachable.

Competency:

  • Pastoral gifting with strong leadership and teaching abilities.
  • Proven experience in team building, equipping, and training leaders with a missional focus.
