We are partnering with a leading plaintiff trial firm in Century City that is looking for a junior level candidate to support as a Legal Assistant. This role is contract-to-hire and offers an excellent opportunity to get your foot in the door with an established law firm in Los Angeles. The firm is looking for candidates that are available to start immediately.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately record and maintain legal documents, case information, and deadlines in docketing systems.
• Monitor and track critical dates to ensure compliance with court rules, client requirements, and internal procedures.
• Perform regular audits of docketing data to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Stay up to date on court rules, procedural changes, and docketing best practices.
• Manage incoming and outgoing communications related to case status, filings, and deadlines.
• Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain data security protocols.

• Previous experience in administrative or legal support roles is a plus.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

• Tech-savvy.

• Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms is a plus.

• Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in all interactions.
