Our Patent Prosecution Group

With 80+ Ph.D.s, 100+ advanced degrees, and multi-lingual capabilities, including Chinese and German, we offer clients around the world a patent prosecution and counseling practice that is unrivaled in its depth of industry and technical experience. From the earliest stage of technical development to product clearance and licensing, our team develops a deep understanding of our clients business strategy so that we can customize an IP strategy for them.

Who You Are

The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in:

• Preparing and prosecuting patent applications
• Contributing to prosecution strategy
• Providing technical and legal research and analysis with respect to matters pending before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
• Providing technical support for PTAB and litigation proceedings

Requirements

• Ph.D. in biology or a related field
• Outstanding writing and analytical skills, and top academic credentials are essential
• USPTO registration is not required

Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus, health/welfare benefits (including parental, adoption, and fertility benefits), flexible time off, and paid holidays. The range displayed is specifically for positions performed in those cities/states and may vary based on factors including but not limited to the following: market data and ranges; an applicants skills and prior relevant experience; and certain degrees, licensing, and certifications.

Boston, MA; New York, NY; Palo Alto, CA; San Diego, CA; and San Francisco, CA annual salary range: $105,000 to $135,000
