**Position Overview**
The **Food Service Rep III** plays a vital role in delivering quality food service to **patients, guests, and staff** while ensuring a positive patient experience. Responsibilities include:
+ Assisting patients with **menu selection** based on preferences and dietary restrictions.
+ Providing **daily interaction** with patients to enhance their experience.
+ Maintaining a **clean, sanitary, and safe** food production environment.
+ Preparing food and drink items, assembling and delivering **patient trays and catering events** .
+ Handling **food and supply deliveries** using FIFO principles and assisting with **inventory management** .
+ Acting as a **liaison** between patients, guests, physicians, hospital personnel, and Food & Nutrition Services.
+ Providing **training** for new team members.
+ Covering for the **Food Service Coordinator** as needed.
+ Performing other duties as assigned.
**Minimum Qualifications**
**Experience:**
+ **Required:** At least **6 months** of experience in **food services** .
**Education:**
+ **Preferred:** High School Diploma or Equivalent.
**Certification & Licensure:**
+ **Preferred:** Food Handler Certification.
