UPMC Health Plan is hiring a temporary HEDIS Medical Record Abstractor to support the Quality Improvement department from 8:00am-4:30pm on Monday through Friday. In this role, you will participate in the Health Plan Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS®) program, including data collection and medical record abstraction under tight time parameters. Experience with HEDIS data collection preferred.
This temporary position is scheduled through April 2026.
Responsibilities:
– Participate in data collection.
– Make computer data entries.
– Responsible for medical record abstraction.
– Perform functions in a timely and accurate manner.
– Use of Electronic Medical Record systems, including Epic.
