Now Hiring: Housekeeping Manager Location: Bishop Drumm Retirement Center – Johnston, IA Bishop Drumm, a CHI Living Community, is seeking a dedicated and organized Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping team and help ensure our campus remains clean, safe, and welcoming for residents, staff, and visitors. This is a full-time leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of cleaning services throughout the facility, including resident rooms, common areas, and campus buildings. What You'll Do

• Manage housekeeping staff schedules to ensure proper coverage and cleaning frequency.
• Interview, hire, train, and evaluate team members.
• Provide ongoing coaching and monthly training to support staff performance and development.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; ensure preventative maintenance is performed regularly.
• Coordinate weekly housekeeping projects and ensure completion on deadline.
• Monitor cleaning quality across all areas and provide feedback and performance reports.
• Oversee proper use of cleaning chemicals and ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Attend required training and comply with CHI Living Communities policies and procedures.

What You'll Need

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior housekeeping experience in a healthcare or senior living setting strongly preferred.
• Ability to lead and support a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
