The One Medical (OM) PXT team is looking for a dynamic, organized, and self-started team member to join our Human Resources (HR) team.
Part of the Amazon One Medical People Experience Team, HR Operations is responsible for providing full employee lifecycle support from onboarding through separation of employment. The HR Assistant role is a customer-facing role responsible for providing high quality, comprehensive support on key HR processes, HR inquiries and HR transactions.
This role will deliver exceptional customer service and reliable answers to employees and people managers, and will also execute on efficient processes resulting in more consistent data and insights.
This role partners closely with other stakeholders in HR including Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, HRBPs and other COEs and plays an integral role in delivering seamless and accurate customer service to our Team Members.
Job Duties:
- Onboarding activities for employees, contractors & med students
- Initiating Background Checks, I9s, pre-employment TB testing and monitoring completion against anticipated start date, updating Onboarding team if changes to start dates are needed
- Workday transactional support
- Responsible for providing Tier 1 assistance on HR-related inquiries across the Enterprise, including inquiry resolution via ZenDesk. Serves as the initial point of contact for employees and people managers on most transactional HR needs and requests. Engage to determine scope of need, work to resolve issues, and direct to available resources; escalate issues when necessary. Inquiry support including but not limited to:
- Workday transactional support
- Onboarding
- Benefits
- Cyclical events such as performance management, annual salary review, open enrollment, etc.
- General HR policy support
- Unemployment responses
- Verification of Employment
- ADA, Leave of Absence
- Supporting Manager, HR Operations with various processes including but not limited to: coordination and ordering of labor law posters, immigration administration, running monthly compliance reports, participating in continuous improvement initiatives within assigned scope of work, process documentation, etc.
- Assist with data reconciliation between PeopleSoft (Amazon) data and Workday for One Medical employees and work with applicable teams to update systems accordingly.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ years of human resources experience
- 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
- 1+ years of customer service experience
- Bachelor's degree in business, HR, or a related field, or High school or equivalent and 1+ years of case management experience
