About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Analytics Specialist to support our operational and project teams with data organization, reporting, and workflow automation. This role is ideal for someone early in their analytics career who is comfortable working in Smartsheet and Excel, eager to learn, and motivated to improve processes through better data visibility.

Key Responsibilities

Smartsheet Implementation & Management

• Build and maintain Smartsheet dashboards, reports, forms, and automated workflows.
• Assist in converting existing processes, trackers, and templates into structured Smartsheet solutions.
• Troubleshoot Smartsheet permission issues, configuration errors, and automation failures.
• Support user onboarding and provide basic training on Smartsheet features.

Excel Reporting & Analysis

• Create, update, and maintain Excel reports, trackers, and data models.
• Clean, validate, and transform datasets to prepare for reporting.
• Use formulas, pivot tables, charts, and conditional formatting to generate insights.
• Reconcile data between multiple sources (Smartsheet, internal systems, exports).

General Analytics & Support

• Partner with team members to understand reporting needs and build user-friendly solutions.
• Document processes, templates, and reporting logic.
• Help streamline manual workflows through automation or improved tooling.
• Contribute to ad hoc analysis and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

• 12 years of experience in an analytics, operations, coordination, or data support role (internships accepted).
• Working knowledge of Smartsheet, including sheets, dashboards, reports, and automation rules.
• Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, IF statements, basic data cleaning).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and willingness to learn new tools.

Preferred

• Experience building Smartsheet workflows or templates from scratch.
• Knowledge of Excel Power Query or basic formulas beyond intermediate level.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies.
