Published Description Our client, a leading technology firm, is seeking a Junior DevOps/Release Engineer to join their team. As a Junior DevOps/Release Engineer, you will be part of the DevOps team supporting various application teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset that aligns successfully with the organization. What's the Job? Manage and execute 25-40 weekly deployments to deploy software to the AWS cloud environment. Write scripts for automating AWS resource management using Python and boto3. Utilize Jenkins Console output to troubleshoot and improve Jenkins builds. Configure IAM Users, Roles, and Policies for fine-grained access to AWS resources. Design AWS Cloud Formation templates to automate the deployment of web applications and databases. What's Needed? AWS cloud experience with a strong background in Linux/Unix environments. Expertise in CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GIT Lab. Solid experience with scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, Groovy, or Ruby. Basic experience with database technologies and SQL queries.
