JOB DESCRIPTION Apex is seeking a very strong, highly experienced consulting professional to join the US & Canada practice within Apex' Solutions Delivery Organization to build and operate the Amazon WorkSpaces platform day to day and drive pilot execution and first waves
RESPONSIBLITIES - Implement WorkSpaces directories bundles encryption and policies across target regions
- Build and maintain golden images including hardening SSM baseline and patch cadence
- Configure FSLogix with FSx for Windows for Windows personas and EFS for Linux homes where applicable
- Create CloudWatch dashboards alarms and log routing to the central log account
- Script environment tasks using Systems Manager CloudFormation or Terraform
- Execute pilot runbooks for launch time reconnect time error budgets and voice MOS checks
- Analyze utilization and right size bundles and AutoStop versus AlwaysOn settings for cost control
- Produce operational runbooks for scale profile recovery image drift and incident response
JOB REQUIREMENTS - Five or more years on AWS with two or more years focused on WorkSpaces at enterprise scale
- Hands on Amazon WorkSpaces build and operations across multiple regions
- Proficiency with FSLogix FSx for Windows EFS SSM and CloudWatch
- Strong troubleshooting across identity profile storage and network layers
- AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional (Preferred Certification)
