Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Loan Officer to lead the development and administration of a specialized revolving loan program focused on long-term risk mitigation and community resilience. This role involves overseeing loan origination, underwriting, compliance, and stakeholder engagement, with a strong emphasis on financial analysis and regulatory alignment. The ideal candidate will have a background in lending or public finance, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage complex portfolios in a fast-paced environment. This position pays $22/hr and is considered temp-to-hire. Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage loan program policies, guidelines, and application processes Review and process loan applications, conduct financial and credit risk assessments Track capitalization grants, repayments, and revolving loan activity to ensure long‑term solvency of the fund. Prepare loan agreements, terms, and repayment schedules Review and process loan applications for mitigation projects such as flood control, wildfire prevention, infrastructure hardening, and hazard risk reduction. Conduct financial analysis, credit risk assessments, and repayment capacity evaluations of borrowers. Prepare loan agreements, terms, and repayment schedules consistent with program objectives. Present loan recommendations to decision‑making boards or committees.
