Job Title: Marketing Associate Location: San Francisco,CA Salary: $65,000- $75,000 Annual (Hybrid work Schedule) Role Overview: The Marketing Associate plays a pivotal role in supporting the marketing efforts of a nonprofit organization based in San Francisco, CA, with a mission focused on empowering and supporting youth. This individual will assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies to increase awareness, engagement, and support for the organization's programs and initiatives. Responsibilities: Content Creation and Management: Develop and curate engaging content for various marketing channels including social media, website, email newsletters, and print materials. Collaborate with program teams to gather stories, testimonials, and updates to showcase the impact of the organization's work. Ensure consistency in branding and messaging across all marketing materials. Digital Marketing: Manage social media accounts and create content calendars to maintain a consistent online presence. Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and engage with the community. Assist in the execution of digital advertising campaigns to reach target audiences. Event Promotion: Support the promotion of events, fundraisers, and community outreach activities through various marketing channels. Coordinate with event organizers to create marketing materials such as flyers, posters, and online event listings. Data Analysis and Reporting: Track and analyze marketing metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives. Prepare regular reports on key performance indicators and provide insights to inform future marketing strategies. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the marketing team, program staff, and other departments to align marketing efforts with organizational goals. Communicate regularly with external partners, vendors, and supporters to coordinate marketing activities and partnerships. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field. 2+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in a nonprofit or youth-focused organization. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms such as social media management tools, email marketing software, and Google Analytics. Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and solutions. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
