Job DescriptionPosition: Material Handler/Forklift Operator- Weekend ShiftLocation: Winslow, Maine MEJob Summary:We are seeking a skilled Material Handler/Forklift Operator to join our team at ALCOM in Winslow, Maine. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to move materials throughout the warehouse and production areas, as well as assisting in loading and unloading trucks. This position requires attention to detail, a focus on safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Material Handler/Forklift Operator will primarily work on the weekend shift.Job Responsibilities:Operate a forklift to move materials to and from storage areas, production lines, and trucksLoad and unload materials from trucksSupport production by supplying materials as neededVerify and maintain inventory recordsEnsure all materials are stored safely and securelyFulfill material requests from other departmentsAdhere to safety procedures and guidelines at all timesMaintain a clean and organized work areaAssist with other duties as assignedJob Requirements:High school diploma or equivalentPrior experience operating a forkliftValid forklift certificationAbility to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periodsAttention to detail and accuracy in workStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work weekends as neededAbout ALCOM:ALCOM is an industry-leading manufacturer of aluminum trailers, specializing in enclosed, snow, cargo, and custom trailers.
