Medical Assistant – Pediatric Office
Location: Land O’ Lakes, FL
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $15 – $17 per hour (Depending on Experience)

Position Overview
We are seeking a full-time, experienced Medical Assistant to join our pediatric healthcare team in Land O’ Lakes, FL . This role requires a professional, friendly, and energetic individual with a passion for working with children. The ideal candidate has completed a certified Medical Assistant program along with a clinical internship/externship and is ready to step into a fast-paced, supportive clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and check-in patients with a warm and professional demeanor
Room patients and prepare charts for daily appointments
Collect test samples, administer vaccines/injections, and record results
Answer phones, schedule appointments, and verify insurance coverage
Process payments and assist with front-desk and administrative tasks
Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and documentation
Collaborate with medical staff to support smooth patient flow and quality care
Required Qualifications
Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
Clinical internship/externship must be completed prior to applying
Previous experience in a pediatric or clinical setting preferred
Familiarity with Florida Shots is a plus
Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
A positive, bubbly, and professional personality
Must maintain a professional appearance with a natural look , in line with office standards
