About the Role:

Servi-Tek is looking for a highly organized and experienced Operations Specialist to join our team! You’ll play a key role in ensuring our janitorial operations meet the highest standards by training and supervising night staff, overseeing compliance with safety protocols, and ensuring operational consistency.

Key Responsibilities

• Train new and current employees on job cards, cleaning protocols, and safety standards.
• Supervise and support janitorial staff, floaters, and floor techs.
• Ensure full utilization and updates in Servi-Trak.
• Conduct inspections and manage supply inventory.
• Submit reports, manage employee changes, and handle timekeeping issues.
• Oversee hiring, interviews, and employee discipline (with HR coordination).
• Maintain compliance with labor laws, SDS postings, and safety procedures.
• Participate in weekly operations meetings and provide nightly reporting.

Results / KPIs

• 100% Completion of all trainings
• 100% Incident reporting during shift
• 100% Servi-Trak work order updates
• 100% Inventory reports and supply orders
• 100% Janitor supervision and supply distribution

Qualifications

• 2–3 years janitorial experience (preferred)
• 1–2 years supervisory/training experience (preferred)
• Experience with safety enforcement (preferred)
• High School Diploma or equivalent (required); College degree (preferred)
• Valid Driver’s License and proof of insurance (required)

Skills & Competencies

• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Comfortable with Apple devices (iPad, Pages, Keynote, etc.)
• Effective time management and multitasking
• Problem-solving with a sense of urgency
• Able to work independently and in team settings

Additional Information

• Pay: $27/hour
• Auto Allowance: $500/month
• Employment Type: Part-Time (Night shift)
• Location: San Francisco, Bay Area (On-site)
• Must pass E-Verify
