Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) – Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation | Kingston of Miamisburg, OH

Full-Time or Part-Time | On-Site | Ohio OTA License Required

Kingston of Miamisburg is hiring a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) to join our skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and respiratory care team. Under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you’ll help residents regain independence in daily living, adapt to health challenges, and achieve a higher quality of life in a supportive, resident-centered environment in Miamisburg, Ohio.

What You’ll Do as an Occupational Therapy Assistant

• Provide therapy services as directed by the supervising Occupational Therapist

• Assist residents with self-care training, fine motor exercises, and adaptive techniques

• Monitor resident progress, maintain accurate documentation, and report updates to the OT

• Educate residents and families on therapy goals, adaptive equipment, and safe practices

• Support residents recovering from illness, surgery, or complex respiratory conditions

• Create a positive, motivating therapy environment that encourages active participation

• Ensure services comply with Ohio state regulations and Kingston’s standards of care

What You’ll Need

• Active Ohio Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) license required

• Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

• Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, or respiratory care preferred (new grads welcome)

• Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills

• A compassionate, resident-first approach to therapy

• Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
