Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Optometrist role located in Hurst, TX. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing and managing vision and ocular health conditions, prescribing corrective lenses and treatments, and co-managing pre- and post-operative patients alongside our experienced surgeons. The Optometrist will also educate patients on eye care and assist in improving their quality of vision while maintaining accurate patient records and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver top-tier care.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in conducting detailed eye examinations, diagnosing ocular conditions, and providing treatment planning
  • Strong ability to manage pre-operative and post-operative care, including cataract and refractive surgery co-management
  • Excellent communication and patient education skills to discuss treatment plans, eye care, and vision correction options
  • Familiarity with advanced testing, imaging technology, and electronic health record systems
  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program and a valid Texas state optometry license
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and commitment to high-quality patient care
  • Experience in or knowledge of advanced surgical procedures and premium intraocular lenses (IOLs) is a plus
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset and a dedication to maintaining professional and ethical practice standards
