Job Description

Applied Power Industrial Sales is actively seeking an outside sales representative. You will be responsible for sales, marketing and technical support for our OEM, Distribution, Engineering and Consulting customers.

Duties include:

• Actively call on a number of specified target accounts ranging from OEM's, Panel Shops, Integrators, and Distributor partners. 
• Maintain active communication between customers, marketing staff, and factory personnel concerning new business, technical assistance, and project detail opportunities.
• Maintain a strong business relationship with channel partners and customers.
• Lead efforts within Applied Power to respond quickly and effectively to unique business opportunities.
• Participate in strategic planning efforts assisting management in target setting process.
• Development of customer-tailored solutions interfacing across the organization.
• Additional duties may be assigned.
• SELL

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering/ business preferred
• Required minimum of 10 years of marketing & sales experience working with Industrial Control, Safety Automation, and related Automation Products in an outside sales capacity. 
• Experience working with LV & MV Control Products such as Circuit Breakers, Switchgear, Transformers, Enclosures and associated hardware.
• Must have customer experience and existing relationships in territory. 
• Sales, marketing, and/or business development experience within OEM, Integrator, UL508A shops, Distribution , Contractor, Consultant and EPC customer segments.
