Physician Assistant General Surgery / Trauma Northwestern Ohio

• Hospital-employed permanent Physician Assistant may apply; 3+ years of experience preferred
• Competitive base salary aligned with MGMA median
• Minimum of 40 hours per week, primarily day shift hours (may vary based on departmental needs)
• Responsibilities include clinic, operating room (OR), and inpatient care
• Must be able to perform first-assist duties in the OR
• Rotate onsite coverage with other PAs to provide 24/7 coverage for trauma and emergency general surgery
• Respond to all trauma activations as the first responding provider to begin work-up and evaluation
• Conduct consults for general surgery and coordinate with the on-call physician
• Complete admissions and round for the service
• Provide outpatient services on a rotating basis
• Weekend rotation is 1 in 4
