  • Tackle real-world experience on exciting power delivery projects
  • Connect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and young professionals programs
  • Apply standard electrical engineering techniques and procedures
  • Perform assignments under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager
  • Provide support for substation design projects under the direct supervision of an Engineer such as: Performing design on drawings relevant to the given project
  • Assist with data entry
  • Project filing required for project deliverables
  • Perform other duties as needed

The ideal candidate will commit up to 20 hours per week on-site, working alongside and receiving mentorship from a licensed engineer. This position does not offer remote work.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Electrical Engineering major with Power.
  • Prefer 3 years completed toward degree (Senior) with 3.0+ GPA
  • Candidate should have completed Basic Circuits Analysis and Electric Machines Course.
  • Candidate should have an inquisitive mind
  • Candidate should be interested in high voltage power system design and protection
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to the field of study/industry
  • Prefer candidate to be local to the Los Angeles County/Orange County Areas
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry

Required Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program
  • Attention to detail
  • Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
