Job Title: PowerSchool Enrollment Analyst

Location: Ascent Classical Academy Charter Schools - Golden Office Hybrid

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Reports To: PowerSchool System Administrator

Work Hours/Days: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, Hybrid

Salary Range: $45,000 - $55,000

Position Summary:

The Operating Philosophy adopted by the Governing Board of Ascent Classical Academy

Charter Schools, Inc. (ACACS) emphasizes autonomy of each school's Headmaster coupled with support and guidance from shared resources provided by an education service provider in order to leverage the economies of scale of a charter school network so that financial impacts to each school may be minimized.

This position serves as a PowerSchool expert, a guide, and a resource for coordination,

redundancy, and support so that Headmasters and campus registrars can fulfill their

responsibilities and functions effectively and efficiently.

Essential Functions

  • Coordinate with PowerSchool System Administrator in the administration of the

PowerSchool Enrollment platform, to include:

o Manage administrative access accounts and permissions

o Coordinate and execute district-level PowerSchool Enrollment functions within

the enrollment process (e.g., running the lottery, opening forms)

o Develop recommended best practices for users of PowerSchool Enrollment

  • Coordinate with PowerSchool System Administrator and appropriate campus and

network personnel to create and maintain all PowerSchool Enrollment tools, forms, and

templates, to include:

o Configure and update application, intent-to-return, and enrollment forms within

the PowerSchool Enrollment platform

o Ensure that the enrollment process and PowerSchool Enrollment tools and

functions are aligned with applicable regulations and policies

  • Coordinate with PowerSchool System Administrator and other network PowerSchool

staff to ensure accurate student data delivery between the Enrollment platform and other

SIS platforms

o Ensure accuracy of data critical for compliance and state reporting

o Connect campus personnel with responsibilities for particular student populations

to enrollment data requiring further follow-up

  • Coordinate with PowerSchool System Administrator, campus registrars, and campus

administrators to support the scheduling and registration processes in PowerSchool SIS

for the coming school year, to include:

o Develop support resources and training for registrars regarding scheduling and

registration in SIS

o Ensure scheduling and registration procedures in SIS comply with applicable

regulations and policies

o Support campuses in managing the course catalog in PowerSchool, ensuring

that all required state reporting data is included for new courses

  • Coordinate with campus registrars, Headmasters, other PowerSchool staff, and

the CFO to contribute to an ACACS documentation system for

PowerSchool procedures, configurations, etc, focusing primarily on: managing the

enrollment and registration cycles and handling student enrollment data with accuracy

and in accordance with applicable regulations and policies

o Support the delivery of training on these procedures and configurations to

campus-level staff

  • Coordinate with the PowerSchool Administrator to implement a support system

to faculty and staff for various PowerSchool functions and plugins, ensuring problems

are solved and/or escalating to PowerSchool and monitoring the escalation

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Experience with the PowerSchool Administrative portal and PowerSchool Enrollment

portal

  • Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to plan timelines and train/coordinate with various departments with self-motivated

excellent time management

  • Ability to reconcile and analyze large datasets
  • Must have the ability to report to work on a regular and punctual basis in a hybrid

position

  • Self-starter, leader in the field, and fosters an environment of collaboration
  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), Google Suite, and Web browser application

proficiency

  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
