$31.00 - $46.25

Position Highlights

Eligible candidates may receive a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 and a relocation bonus of $2,500.

Complete the ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration Course within 3 months and obtain the ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Provider Card within 6 months.

This role primarily focuses on Oncology Infusion, with cross-training opportunities in the Oncology Clinic.

A Brief Overview

This position involves delivering nursing care by formulating nursing diagnoses, setting care objectives, defining interventions, and providing comprehensive support—physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual—to patients, families, and friends. You will help them understand patient conditions, medications, and self-care skills while monitoring changes in conditions and needs, and adjusting care objectives accordingly.

What You Will Do

• Deliver patient care by reviewing physician orders, communicating the nursing care plan, and coordinating with the healthcare team while providing support to patients and their families.
• Develop nursing care plans by gathering medical histories, examining patients, documenting their physical and psychological conditions, and collaborating with family members.
• Educate patients and families about healthcare needs by setting care goals and providing information on conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
• Assess patient care by adhering to therapeutic standards, measuring health outcomes, and modifying care plans as necessary.
• Ensure a safe and healthy patient care environment by following infection control protocols and legal regulations.
• Document patient care services accurately in patient and departmental records.
• Maintain patient care equipment by following operational guidelines and performing preventative maintenance.
• Manage patient care supplies by monitoring stock levels and placing orders as needed.

Essential Qualifications

Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience

• Registered Nurse (RN) with an active license from the Board of Nursing in the state of practice upon hire.

Preferred Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience

• Experience in a clinical setting.
