Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead process development and optimization for semiconductor fabrication steps including photolithography, etch, deposition, and metrology.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in R&D, quality, and manufacturing to scale microfabrication processes from prototype to production.
• Analyze process data to identify trends, root causes, and implement corrective actions to improve yield and reliability.
• Support technology transfer from external partners and suppliers, ensuring robust documentation and process control.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma, SPC, and DOE methodologies.
• Maintain compliance with cleanroom protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements relevant to medical device manufacturing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• 1+ years of experience in semiconductor fabrication, preferably in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Prior experience working with or supporting processes developed at leading semiconductor companies (e.g., Intel or similar).
• Strong understanding of semiconductor process integration and equipment operation.
• Experience with statistical process control (SPC), failure analysis, and cleanroom operations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with medical device manufacturing standards (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA QSR).
• Experience with MEMS or microelectronic packaging technologies.
• Knowledge of reliability testing and qualification for implantable or wearable devices.
