Job Title: Senior Maintenance Technician
Location: Anaheim, California
Shift: 8-hour rotating shifts
We are seeking a self-motivated Maintenance & Build Technician to support the construction, repair, and troubleshooting of highly automated manufacturing equipment. This hands-on role is essential to supporting advanced production systems and ensuring efficient, high-quality output. The ideal candidate has mechanical aptitude, strong problem-solving skills, and experience with hand/power tools in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble mechanical and electromechanical systems from drawings and schematics
- Perform setup, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of production equipment
- Operate and maintain power tools (e.g., saws, drills, grinders)
- Complete preventive maintenance and safety inspections
- Accurately document maintenance tasks and communicate findings
- Support installation, startup, and debugging of automated systems
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–3 years of experience in equipment maintenance, construction, HVAC, automotive, or related fields
- Strong mechanical skills; ability to use hand and power tools effectively
- Basic computer proficiency (e.g., MS Office)
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with automated equipment and HMIs
- Familiarity with machine sensors and inspection tools
- Knowledge of mechanical linkages, cam-driven systems, and assembly automation
Physical Requirements:
- Stand/walk for majority of shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Ability to work in tight spaces and on any shift
