We are currently seeking a dynamic, results-oriented individual to join our team as a Senior Manager Ingredient Procurement in the Manufacturing industry. As an integral part of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing the sourcing, purchasing, and negotiation of ingredient contracts. This is a critical role that will directly impact the quality, cost, and availability of the ingredients we use in our manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will have a strong background in ingredient procurement, contract negotiation, and purchasing, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high volume environment. This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement procurement strategies for ingredient sourcing that align with company objectives.
2. Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure optimal cost, quality, and delivery terms.
3. Manage relationships with ingredient suppliers, including conducting regular performance reviews and addressing any issues or concerns.
4. Work closely with the manufacturing and quality teams to ensure that ingredients meet our strict quality standards.
5. Use D365 to track and report on procurement activities, including cost savings, supplier performance, and market trends.
6. Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain, such as potential ingredient shortages or price increases.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in our procurement processes.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in ingredient procurement in the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven track record of successful contract negotiation and purchasing.
4. Experience using D365 for procurement activities.
5. Strong understanding of the ingredient market, including trends, pricing, and quality standards.
6. Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
7. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high volume environment.
8. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
9. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
10. Commitment to continuous improvement and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
