Join our Client Accounting Services team managing financial operations for commercial real estate properties. Prepare monthly statements, perform GL closings, manage cash flow, and support property managers with financial reporting. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree in Accounting with 3-5 years of accounting experience (real estate background preferred), strong analytical and organizational abilities, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Excel. You should thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining meticulous attention to detail and demonstrating consistent professional values. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements for a portfolio of properties, including General Ledger month-end close, actual to budget variance review, audits, and knowledge of real estate accounting software; preparing timely and accurate monthly property financial statements by established deadlines; preparing additional schedules to support account balances or as required by owners; submitting financial statements and work papers in reviewable form and within the proper time frame for review; managing cash for assigned properties; ensuring timely bank statement reconciliations and follow-up on outstanding checks and reconciling items monthly; maintaining knowledge of mortgage and management agreements for assigned properties; assisting property managers in responding to tenant and owner requests for financial information. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, 3-5 years accounting experience (real estate a plus), strong analytical and organizational skills, demonstrated consistency in values and work ethic, excellent verbal and written communication skills, computer proficiency with strong Excel skills, strong attention to detail, proficient time management, ability to multi-task, and ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
