Of Counsel/Management Role for Experienced Litigator: Our client, a sophisticated boutique litigation law firm, is seeking an experienced attorney to join their New York office. The firm was founded by BigLaw refugees that take a client-centric approach producing high-caliber work while maintaining work life balance among their attorneys. Their practice focuses on Crypto Law, Commercial Litigation and Business Transactions.

The firm does not have a billable hour requirement rather a target goal of 1500 hours/year. The starting base salary is $220K+ (depending on experience) with the opportunity to earn a bonus based on individual performance and firm profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage associates in the firm
• Handle all phases of litigation including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, taking and defending depositions, motion practice, and court appearances
• Collaborate with partners and colleagues on complex cases
• Maintain compliance with case deadlines and reporting obligations

Candidate Requirements

• J.D. graduate from a Tier 1 law school
• Experience with handling sophisticated litigation matters
• AmLaw 100 firm experience is highly preferred
• Active and good standing membership with the New York State Bar
• Excellent legal writing, analytical, and courtroom skills
