Move Forward with Volt Volt is immediately hiring for Software Engineer, which is onsite to Aurora, CO. What You Will Do
Develop and maintain Java-based backend applications for satellite ground systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement robust server-side solutions.
Modify and improve existing codebases for enhanced performance and scalability.
Conduct software design and code reviews, integrating best practices and innovations.
Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, ensuring adherence to Agile principles.
Participate in system integration and project milestone completion under guidance from supervisors.
Keep abreast of advancements in Java and related technologies to drive continuous innovation. This is a 12 Month Contract or Contract to hire
Clearance: Active Secret Clearance Qualifications You Must Have
A bachelor’s degree in science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and two (2) years of relevant software engineering experience.
Experience with Java software development in a Linux environment .
Experience developing software in an Agile and/or DevOps environments. Qualifications We Prefer
Java strongly preferred. Experience working with the Atlassian Tool suite. Experience developing software in an Agile and/or DevOps environments. Previous work satellite GPS software desirable. Experience troubleshooting or debugging software. Experience with unit and automated functional test concepts. Experience with some area of satellite ground system software such as mission management, planning and scheduling, command and telemetry, satellite operations, or flight dynamics models Pay Rate:- $55 - $65/hr. *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
