Compensation
Base pay range: $58,200 - $91,000 per year. Salary is determined by location, experience, and qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Lead field surveys including control, boundary, topography, and laser scanning.
- Collect high?quality data using advanced equipment and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Produce clear field notes, maintain organized records, and perform equipment checks and calibrations.
- Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders; represent Jacobs with professionalism and integrity.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend process improvements.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as an Instrument Operator, Party Chief, or Survey Technician.
- Proven ability to complete all aspects of field surveying tasks.
- Experience in topographic design surveys, laser scanning, UAV photogrammetry, subsurface utilities, boundary and/or ROW.
- Ability to travel up to 50% and work in outdoor environments.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to pass MRV, drug, and background checks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Trimble equipment and software.
- FAA Part 107 pilots certificate.
- CST, LSI, or PLS certification.
