Job Description

Our client is looking to hire a dynamic, strategic Freelance Technical Recruiter to support innovative teams including Engineering, Machine Learning/AI, Site Reliability, Big Data, and Database. In this role, you’ll be the trusted advisor guiding hiring leaders through every stage of the talent journey while owning the full recruitment lifecycle from end to end.

Schedule: onsite 5 days a week

Location: Los Angeles CA 90021

Pay rate: $75/hr.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and lead the full recruitment lifecycle for a variety of highly technical roles including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing top-tier talent.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to define role requirements, align on hiring strategies, and provide thoughtful, data-driven guidance throughout the process.
  • Build and nurture diverse talent pipelines through creative sourcing: research, referrals, networking events, strategic outreach, and more.
  • Drive a structured, consistent, and inclusive interview process that elevates the candidate experience.
  • Provide market insights, competitive intelligence, and best-practice recommendations to hiring leaders at all levels.
  • Serve as a culture ambassador—clearly communicating our mission, values, and the real-world impact of each role to every candidate you engage.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years as a full-cycle technical recruiter with experience hiring across engineering and technology functions.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to influence and advise stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in ATS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Advanced sourcing abilities (Boolean mastery is a plus!) that consistently convert passive talent.
  • A process-driven mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, balancing multiple searches across teams and levels with ease.
  • A proven track record of successfully closing candidates, from early-career talent to senior leadership hires.

  • Background recruiting in tech within consumer product goods organizations
  • Strong presentation and storytelling skills
