Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring a CA RN license, BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certifications.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in a Labor and Delivery Unit within a hospital setting
• Care for obstetric patients in an LDRP environment
• Day and night shifts available with 3 x 12-hour shifts weekly (07:00-19:30 or 19:00-07:30)
• Every other weekend coverage required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Use of Epic EMR; prior Epic experience preferred
• Responsible for supporting obstetricians, surgical scrub techs, registered nurses, and charge nurses in providing care and procedures
• Must be able to mentor and train students as needed
• Modules and orientation completed via e-learning upon start
• Must be available to complete lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
• Only one holiday time-off request will be approved
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Candidates who previously worked at this facility must have a minimum 1-year break before returning as travelers
• Accepts local candidates at a local rate

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS (AHA), ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years Labor and Delivery experience required
• Experience using Epic EMR preferred
