Job Description

Southern Jersey Family Medical Centers, Inc. is seeking a VicePresident and Chief Medical Officer to facilitate the overall clinicalvision of our mission driven organization. The Chief Medical Officerwill be responsible for providing clinical direction to StaffPhysicians and Nurse Practitioners as well as personally providingdirect care to SJFMC patients. The CMO will act as the driving forcefor development and implementation of programs that support andimprove the overall mission and business strategy of a fast-paced,multi-location premier primary healthcare organization rangingthroughout Southern New Jersey.

Hours: We offer flexible schedules with generaldaytime hours Monday - Friday, up to 2 evenings per week.

Experience and Skills:

  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.)from an accredited school of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine required
  • Board Certified in Family Practice with an active, unrestricted NJ License
  • Advanced training or equivalent experience in medical management,healthcare law or quality improvement; coursework in physicianexecutive leadership and management training (MBA or MHA) isstrongly preferred.
  • Current knowledge and understanding of issues related to healthcenters, regulatory standards and healthcare laws and regulations
  • Substantial clinical experience in a primary care center isstrongly preferred
  • Valid NJ medical license, CDS,DEA, and BLS
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively at the highest levels of clinical andbusiness environments
  • Superior interpersonal skills, communications skills and financial aptitude
