Core Responsibilities:
\n - Set up and operate precision CNC High-Speed Milling machines, in accordance with approved and safe work procedures.
\n - Plans and schedules work, sets up equipment and tools, using a variety of devices, machine attachments and fixtures.
\n - Machines precision steel parts and electrodes out of copper and graphite.
\n - Ensures conformance to specifications utilizing CMM, height gauges, micrometers, and other precision measuring devices to adjust tools, to produce drawing specified dimensions and ensure overall quality.
\n - Evaluates and maintains results and quality to ensure parts are in specified dimensions and tolerances.
\n - Maintain surface finish requirements.
\n - Completes work orders, associated documents and labor as required.
\n - Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements to minimize downtime, following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions and calling for repairs.
\n - Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
\n - Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
\n - Contribute to continuous improvement of the operation processes.
\n - Perform first piece inspections FAI to verify accuracy before full production runs.
\n - Record part counts, runtimes, and process data accurately specifically in production documentation or ERP System.

Skills: \n - Must be able to work both independently and on a team.
\n - Must demonstrate strong organizational skills with close attention to detail, consistently following established quality and safety standards.
\n - Must be knowledgeable in reading and interpreting blueprints and CAD drawings.
\n - Skilled in conducting inspections and utilizing precision measuring devices to maintain product quality.
\n - Knowledge of proper health and safety measures.
\n - Must demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow within the company.

Qualifications: \n - 5+ Years' Experience in High-Speed Milling
\n - Experience with High-Speed Milling machines a Plus
\n - Must be detail oriented and organized
\n - Knowledge of the metric system (preferred).
\n - Must be able to lift/push/pull to 50lbs.
\n - Be willing to work to ISO / QS 9000 standards and have a commitment to continuous improvement

Education Requirements: \n - Minimum High School Diploma or GED
\n - Journeyman Certification a Plus or Educational Equivalent
\n
