Estate Planning and Probate Attorney
Estate Planning and Probate Associate
Starting Salary: $125,000 - $200,000
Position Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Estate Planning and Probate Associate to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist clients with estate planning and probate matters, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations while providing top-notch service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities - Assist clients in the preparation and execution of wills and trusts.
- Provide guidance on estate administration and probate processes.
- Conduct legal research on probate law and tax regulations.
- Consult with clients to understand their estate planning needs and objectives.
- Represent clients in probate litigation and mediation when necessary.
- Draft legal documents related to estate planning and administration.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in estate and tax laws.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in Washington State.
- Experience in probate law and estate planning preferred.
- Strong knowledge of wills, trusts, and estate administration procedures.
- Familiarity with tax law as it relates to estate planning.
- Excellent legal research and writing skills.
- Strong client consultation and communication skills.
