New York Laser Vision is a leading NYC ophthalmology practice providing advanced medical, laser, and surgical eye care, along with facial aesthetic services. With a strong focus on anterior segment and refractive procedures, we combine cutting-edge technology with a patient-centered approach and a growth-driven culture.
As we continue to expand, we are seeking a full-time or part-time, patient-focused Optometrist to join our collaborative, physician-led team.
What We’re Looking For
✅ Motivated Doctor of Optometry (OD)
✅ Strong interest in anterior segment care and medical optometry
✅ Experience with post-operative care for refractive and cataract surgery patients (preferred)
✅ Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume clinical environment
✅ Excellent communication and patient education skills
✅ Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach to patient care
Responsibilities
✔️ Provide comprehensive optometric care, including routine eye exams and medical management of common eye conditions
✔️ Manage post-operative care for refractive and cataract surgery patients
✔️ Diagnose and treat dry eye disease, including advanced dry eye therapies
✔️ Perform contact lens fittings, including specialty lenses as appropriate
✔️ Collaborate closely with ophthalmologists to ensure seamless, high-quality patient care
✔️ Educate patients on treatment plans, eye health, and preventive care
