Job Description

Primary duties include:

• Surgical First Assist
• Rounding
• Office / clinic patient evaluations and education
• Give therapeutic injections
• Refer for diagnostic treatment/tests
• Evaluate x-ray, CT scan and MRI
• Review lab results
• Casting and splinting
• Write scripts
• Dictation
• Computer literate and ability to use EHR

Must also posses:

• Must be NCCPA-certified, or CRNP/FNP certified.
• Three years previous orthopaedic experience required
• Must be licensed to practice in Alabama
• Independent thinker, self confident, organized, hard working
• Able to work well with others in a fast-paced and collaborative environment with excellent interpersonal skills.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to use arms, hands, and fingers skillfully
• Constant standing and walking
• Must be agile and able to work efficiently in space limited areas
• Constantly work at a productive pace
• Must readily adapt to frequent treatment schedule changes
