RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work in a 27-bed Emergency Department with a team of 50 RNs and 25 medics
• Day shift: 1 charge nurse, 5 RNs, 2-3 medics with additional staff added at 11am and 3pm • Night shift: 1 charge nurse, 5 RNs, 2-3 medics • Patient ratios of 4-6:1, with preferred experience of 5:1 ratios • Weekend requirements: four weekend shifts (Friday or Saturday for nights; Saturday or Sunday for days) in a four-week scheduling period • No on-call responsibilities • Must have completed 2-3 travel assignments and have 2-3 years of ER experience • Preferred experience in high acuity, fast-paced ERs with high volume • Perform typical procedures including RSI, sepsis interventions, stroke protocol with tPA administration, central line placement, care of psychiatric patients, and transfers to other facilities (EMTALA)• Use Meditech EMR system • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC • Preferred certifications: ENPC, NRP, NIH • Dress code: navy blue or white scrubs • No floating to other areas required • Ideal candidate should be relaxed, easy going, friendly, team-oriented, and respectfulFacility:
